As we all return from our holiday breaks and get the new year ramped up, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on 2018 while we look forward to 2019.
2018 was a record year for us at C3, and our growth reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality services to our clients. I’d like to highlight some of our success in 2018 while previewing what’s to come in 2019.
Meeting A New Need
Based in the Washington D.C. area, the government contractor community has been a natural vertical. But for us, it’s more than that. We’re proud to specialize in providing services to the government contractor community, even as many people struggle to understand that no, we do not sell to the government. This perspective, as well as our own collective experiences, gives us the unique ability to meet the needs of our clients to comply with new regulations driven by NIST 800-171 and DFARS 7012.
Winning Microsoft’s Confidence
That commitment was recognized this past year by Microsoft when we were named as one of five partners authorized to sell Office 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC High). This unique version of Office 365 is still raw and challenges our team daily to deliver these services to our clients. However, we are proud to be leading the fight to secure our nation’s data and address the cyber threat.
We’re always looking for the right partners to team with us and improve the value we deliver to our clients. The challenge of enabling compliance for our clients once again pushed us to explore the market and find the right mix to achieve these goals. Incremental additions such as Box, Jamf, and Exostar give us opportunity to satisfy even more of our client’s needs. You’ll be hearing more about our partnerships with each one of these providers in the coming months.
Expanding Managed Services
In the next couple of months, we’ll be complementing our managed services with a full spectrum of security services designed specifically to meet NIST 800-171 and DFARS 7012 compliance. In beta testing now, these services will effectively offer a turn-key solution for contractors that supports both our defense and civilian agencies.
Along with our growing client list, we’re also growing our family here at C3. We started the year by adding Nikkia for collaboration and training. Alex has been a key addition to our support team while Laurie has helped streamline our back office. I’m excited to see expanded rolls for all of them this year while we welcome Matt to the team this month.
